Urgent medical care services are appropriate for non-life threatening medical conditions. It is intended to be an alternative to Emergency Room Services or when a visit to a physician cannot be provided within the time frame required by the patient. This modern facility, equipped with a lab, is staffed seven days per week by board certified emergency room and family practice physicians.

Through a grant provided by the East Hampton Healthcare Foundation, the SFCHI, a grass roots organization with an office of the Healthcare Center, provides information and assistance in regards to healthcare and other related service needs to everyone in East Hampton. Their entitlement officers are bi-lingual. Please stop by from Monday through Friday to visit Alexandra Feely, CSW, Matthew Grady, Executive Director, and Blanca Bishop.

Digital X-ray, Mammography and Bone Density Services - Suite A - 631-329-8630; Fax 631-329-8636
Staffed by Southampton Hospital and funded by the East Hampton Healthcare Foundation, the newest and most modern digital radiology, mammography and bone densitometry equipment is now available on the South Fork. The radiology unit is open from Monday to Friday from 8:30 to 4:30pm; no appointments are needed. Call 726-8285 to schedule mammography and bone density appointments.

Laboratory Services - Suite A

The up-to-date laboratory is the location for routine blood and other analyses. In most cases, the actual diagnostic laboratory work will be accomplished at the Southampton Hospital where the specimens are taken and from which reports emanate throughout the day. Open Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 3:15 pm and on Saturday from 8:00 am to noon. Closed between 11:45 am and 1:00 pm daily for lunch. No appointments are necessary.

The convenience offered to patients in having prescriptions filled without having to drive to another location is an important step in offering improved healthcare services to our residents. Park Place Chemists is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 to 6:00 pm and on Saturday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
